I have enhanced the Temperate Map Background, increasing the contrast and the saturation. I have also changed the background to black. If your interested, download the zipped file TemperateEnh.zip from my FTP site...

http://www.box.net/public/ldbjlm1ayj

And unzip the file into the "Data" folder (under SWIFT WX Professional 2.5).

I have no access to (or know of any) publicly accessable website that I can link to. I tried posting to tthe message in this forum using the convention you described for pointing to the box.net FTP site but it just inserts the text, not the jpg.

If you can suggest a site I might use, I'd be more than happy try it. Obviously, I've never had to do this before. I simply use FTP sites, or attach to e-mails to exchange files.

Thanks.

I noticed when changing the water background from blue to black, some of the fine edge detail in the shoreline around the US was lost. I have restored the edge with the edition of a blue water edge.

The archived ZIP file can be downloaded from...

http://www.box.net/public/o3e6edz1ft

And then extracted intot he Data folder of SWIFT WX.

Here is the screeen shot...
