|
|
Rory,
If I leave 2.7 running, I am getting lots of Swift Wx Download Engine Icons in my task bar area. When I shotdown 2.7 to clear them, i get a "runtime error 91". Any thoughts how to correct.
Thanks,
Tom |

How do you display those legends for radar? |

Click File > Open Catalog, select "Default_265.swx" from the \Catalogs folder.
By default the upgrade-only version does not overwrite the 2.6 catalog (in case you made any modifications). |

Off the top of my head, i can recall CGM, WMF, and BMP being supported. GIF is not supported because of the licensing issue with Unisys. |

I was checking out the winter weather national radar for the first time today. The thing that strikes me is how _sharp_ it looks comapred to the general radar map. Whether it's the color scheme or what, it looks good. The general one looks like a blurred image.
Can I change my preferences somehow to make it look more like the winter map? |

Thats interesting. They should have the same "smoothness" level because that is set at the parent folder, and both are in the same folder. Must have something to do with the color palette.
You can try setting the smoothing to 0, that should sharpen both images quite a bit more. You can do this by editing the Default.swx file directly or by editing the Regional Radar folder properties, under File > Catalog Editor. |
